Skky Hotel – Hotel near airport in Whitehorse

My stay at the hotel was a great experience overall. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, well-organized, and had everything I needed, although some noise at night was a bit bothersome. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making my check-in and morning interactions pleasant. The hotel's location across the street from the airport was super convenient, especially for travelers, but it can be a bit inconvenient for other aspects. The dining options were limited, which was a downside, but the price was fair for the value provided.

When I checked in at noon, the room was a bit warm at 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The cleanliness could have been better overall, but the room itself was spacious and pretty clean. The service was excellent, especially at the Asian fusion restaurant within the hotel. However, I was a bit disappointed that the air conditioning wasn't turned on yet, and there were no ice or soda machines available. The location is fantastic, especially if you have an early or late flight, being super close to the airport, but it's not very close to downtown. The dining experience, next door at the Chalet restaurant, was a letdown for the price, with limited breakfast options. Despite that, the fresh orange juice was a nice touch.
